These workshops provide a haven for a creative two days away from everyday demands. Beginners are welcome on both the painting and weaving workshops.
Students requiring accommodation will arrive on Friday night to begin the Saturday workshop at 10:00. A list of nearby b&bs will be sent to you as well as a town map on booking. The workshops run from 10 to 3:30 both days with a break for lunch. All art materials will be supplied for the painting workshops and weaving materials will be available for the weaving workshops.
Cost for the weekend: £ 130 (Deposit £40)

Painting
Ink painting workshops in various subjects (Flowers, Fruit & Vegetables, Life) throughout the year. The day runs from 10 to 3:30 with a break for lunch. All art materials, coffee and tea are included in the cost. Beginners welcome.

Cavendish Hotel ****
These workshops take place at the luxurious Cavendish Hotel on the Grand Parade overlooking the sea. The Studio is light and large and has beautiful views of the the sea, promenade and pier. Residents can use the spa facilities (gym, sauna and aromatherapy room) free of charge and there is parking at the hotel.

Breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea and four-course evening meals in the hotel are included in the cost for residents. Residents arrive on Thursday in time for the evening meal, non residents on Friday morning in time for the first session at 9:30. The workshop finishes at 3:30 Sunday afternoon. There will be three full days of painting. Lunch, coffee and tea are provided for non-residents. Both residents and non-residents have unlimited access to the Studio and all art materials are provided in the cost. Beginners are welcome.

Luther King House Painting
Luther King House is an oasis of serenity set in two acres of leafy ground not far from the city centre. Residents arrive on Friday evening in time for the evening meal, non-residents arrive the next morning. Flowers are the subject of the weekend workshop and Life will be an option extra day on Monday. Breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea and evening meals are included in the cost for residents. Non-residents will be provided with coffee, lunch and tea. There is unlimited access to the Studio and all art materials are included in the cost. Beginners are welcome.
